The Lovely Bones (spoiler warning)

I enjoyed The Lovely Bones! It was better than I expected it to be. Like most Peter Jackson films, it felt a bit long in places, especially when you were waiting an extra ten seconds to see what you already knew was going to happen, but perhaps the fact that I felt the suspense is a positive thing. Fantastic Mr. Fox

Well, it was good! The stop motion was cool, there was some clever cinematography, clever script and clever music. Sometimes there were odd bits and pieces that kinda didn’t fit, namely the scene with the wolf in. Just made me go “wha?” But still a worthwhile movie overall!

And it had some big names in it too. George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Michael Gambon and a cameo from Owen Wilson. Read more…

Today I decided that air is only sky when there is a direct line to space (clouds don’t count as interference). The air under trees or shelters or inside buildings is not sky.

Because after all, it is an ever present subject…

I’ll try to not offer too many opinions, lest I get myself in trouble. Oh and please please pleeeease note that this blog has been floating around in my head for a while. While I was disappointed that people were posting their bra colours on Facebook last week, I’ve deliberately left that out of this post. It seems to be over now and I’d rather leave it that way and talk about what I’ve outlined below instead.
